Watch as Joe Aribo scores first Premier League goal for Southampton in style


Joe Aribo has scored his first ever goal for Southampton in the Premier League in their 2-2 comeback draw against Leeds at the St. Mary’s Stadium on Saturday.

The Super Eagles midfielder started the game from the bench and was introduced after his side were trailing 2-0 to the visitors.

Joe Aribo who scored a sensational goal during Southampton’s 2-1 pre-season loss to Villarreal scored another great goal on Saturday.

Aribo who was playing in his second Premier League game showed great composure in the box before scoring the Saints’ first in their 2-2 draw.

The former Rangers star was introduced in the 64th minute of the game for his home debut, eight minutes after his introduction he scored a beautiful goal.

Nine minutes after his, Aribo was also involved as Kyle Walker-Peters scored the equalizer in the 81st minutes of the game.


Aribo was ecstatic after the game and expressed this with a post on his social.

“Good fight and spirit from the boys today.

“What a feeling to score my first Premier goal, thank you God.”
