Umar Sadiq scored his first ever goal for Almeria in the La Liga Santander on Monday in their clash against Elche.
The Nigerian who was the clubs’ top scorer last season as they gained promotion into the top flight scored his side’s second goal in the top flight.
Sadiq scored the first goal of the game in the 23rd minute when he steered in from the corner kick.
The home team pulled back 7 minutes after his goal through Collado and three minutes after the goal Almeria were reduced to 10 man when Centelles was sent off.
At halftime at Estadio Martinez Valero it ended 1-1.
