Tyler Polumbus is back on the air waves in Denver.

Altitude Sports Radio Denver announced Polumbus as its newest host, with “A P.H.D. in Sports with Polumbus, Hastings & Dover” airing weekdays 12 p.m.-3 p.m.

Before signing on with Altitude Sports Radio 92.5 FM, Polumbus spent time at 104.3 FM The Fan. He announced on Sept. 18 that his contract had run out. Polumbus was then replaced on air by former Denver Broncos teammate Derek Wolfe, who will co-host “The Drive” for The Fan.

“We are so very excited to add Tyler to our new midday P.H.D. show,” KSE Radio’s SVP & GM Dave Fleck said in a statement. “He’s more than just a former player, he’s a respected member of the community who’s excelled both on the field and in the broadcast booth. Having Tyler as part of Altitude Sports Radio, allows us to reconfigure our daily lineup, while adding a great voice to the station.”

Polumbus is a Colorado native who played his prep football at Cherry Creek High, went on to graduate from CU and played with the Denver Broncos during his eight seasons in the NFL. He’s a member of the Broncos’ Super Bowl 50 team.

The new P.H.D. show is set to debut Oct. 24 at noon.
