In her first race at the event Tobi Amusan finished first in heat 3 with a time of 12.40s, she set an African record by smashing her own African record of 12.41s.
In the semifinal on Sunday, Tobi Amusan went a little farther breaking the world record set at 12.20s with her 12.12s race in the semifinal.
