Colorado State Rams head coach Jay Norvell is going with another quarterback this week against Utah State.

For the third week in a row, the Rams will have a different quarterback under center as 6-foot-5 redshirt freshman Giles Pooler will make his first collegiate start for the Rams, Norvell announced Wednesday. Pooler is no rookie when it comes to Fort Collins, as he played his prep football at Rocky Mountain High School as a sophomore and junior before playing his senior year in Kentucky.

The Rams (1-4, 1-0) head into homecoming on Saturday against Utah State (2-4, 1-1). Kickoff is 5 p.m. at Sonny Lubick Field at Canvas Stadium.
