Hundreds of thousands of fans celebrated the Avalanche’s Stanley Cup victory in downtown Denver on Thursday. And if sportsbooks are to believed, the city should prepare for another parade next year.
Colorado is the favorite to bring home the Cup in 2023, according to oddsmakers. The Avs have +400 odds — meaning a $100 bet would win $400 — to capture the NHL championship for the fourth time in franchise history next year, according to DraftKings Sportsbook.
The Avalanche has +450 odds from BetMGM, Caesars and SI Sportsbook, and +500 odds from FanDuel Sportsbook.
It’s better odds than the beginning of last season when Colorado’s odds ranged from +450 to +600.
Toronto has, in general, the second-best odds to win it all from +800 to +900. Tampa Bay is next from +900 to +1,000, followed by Florida (+1,000 to +1,100).
