Ten Hag Hails Manchester United Players For Beating Man City

Manchester United Manager Erik Ten Hag has praised his players for their performance in the 2-1 win over Manchester City at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The Red Devils fought back from a goal down to seal the win thanks to goals from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford.

It has been an interesting time for Erik Ten Hag after guiding the club to a run of nine successive wins on the bounce.

He has reserved special place for his players for grinding out a win against Man City.

Ten Hag told BT Sport: “The first half we played very well. We defended very well and broke in good opportunities. We were really happy at half-time.

“After half-time we had to sub Martial, he had some complaints, and the game changed. City came in, we were not proactive. They scored. The spirit of the team is so huge, the belief is there that the game is 90 minutes and we can fight back.

“I’m really happy with the performance of the team.”

Ten Hag will hope his Manchester United team can continue their impressive form against Crystal Palace on Wednesday at Selhurst Park.
