A local soccer coach has been arrested on investigation of possession of child pornography.
Heberto Limas-Villers, 54, was taken into custody on Tuesday and booked into the Arapahoe County jail, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
Limas-Villers was identified by authorities as a coach with the REAL Soccer Club. Investigators with the sheriff’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAS) office served a search warrant on Tuesday at his residence in the 16800 block of East Peakview Avenue, the release said.
“Investigators received a cyber tip that known child pornography had been shared through social media,
and the IP address that the image came from was found to be owned by Limas-Villers,” the sheriff’s office said.
He was arrested on suspicion of three counts of sexual exploitation of a child, a class 5 felony.
In August, a former soccer coach with the REAL Soccer Club, 63-year-old Howard “Bud” Harper, was arrested by the sheriff’s office for allegedly uploading child pornography from an IP address in Arapahoe County.
