Tuesday will warm slightly higher than Monday, but a cold front overnight will drop temperatures and bring several opportunities for snow later this week.
The high Tuesday is 62 degrees, and the day will be breezy with up to 16-mph wind gusts and increasing cloud coverage.
The cold front will come through Denver in the evening, after bringing snowfall to the mountains, and some light precipitation is possible with a 20% chance. The low Tuesday is 37 degrees, so any snow that might fall Tuesday would probably not accumulate.
In the mountains, some areas could get two inches of snow accumulation.
Wednesday will be partly sunny with a high of 57, then Wednesday night there is a 50% chance of rain and snow showers through Thursday about 2 p.m.
Wednesday night’s low is 34 degrees, Thursday’s high is 47 degrees and Thursday night’s low is 26 degrees.
Friday will see the area warm up again, with a high of 59 degrees and a low of 30 degrees, then Saturday will be back into the low 60s and mostly sunny.
