BILLS at PATRIOTS
8:15 p.m., Bills by 4 ½, 43 ½
HANK’S HONEYS: Josh Allen’s elbow is a continuing concern and the Bills have played down to their competition in four straight games. That has also moved the line to a more realistic number. Still, the 6-5 Patriots will be playing for their playoff lives in a primetime home environment that has historically favored them. Combine that with the fact that Buffalo is playing its third game in 12 days away from their home field and the intangibles are with Bill Belichick’s boys. The Bills have owned the rivalry recently but that was against a far-worse Patriots’ defense than this one. Their pass rush is good and the Bills will be without LT Dion Dawkins. This one shapes up as more of a grind-it-out affair. At least that’s how Belichick wants it.
IF I WERE A BETTING MAN: Patriots and the under.
