Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze scored seven minutes into his first Pre Season game as Villarreal defeated German Bundesliga side Borrusia Dortmund 2-0 at the Cashpoint Arena in Austria.
Chukwueze missed the first two Villarreal pre season games before coming on as a substitute in the 60th minute vs Dortmund on Friday 22 July.
Villarreal took the lead in the first half through Gerard Moreno before substitute Samuel Chukwueze added a second in the 67th minute finishing off a cross from Etienne Capoue to double the advantage for the Yellow Submarine in Austria .
Samuel Chukwueze and his Villarreal teammates will continue pre season preparations with games vs French sude Reims at Stade Auguste-Delaune II on Sunday, before two games in England vs Southampton and Fulham .
Villarreal will face Inter Milan in the last pre season game before their opening La Liga game of the season against Rayo Valladolid at Jose Zorrilla on August 13 , 2022.
