Residents of an Aurora neighborhood are being told to stay inside as police negotiate with a homicide suspect who has barricaded himself in a home.
A reverse 911 went out to residents Monday evening near the 400 block of North Oswego Street, Aurora police tweeted, saying the individual may be armed.
“If you live in the area, please stay inside and away from your windows,” police tweeted.
Around 7 p.m., police said negotiators were on the phone with the suspect.
