Police in Aurora are negotiating with a two people to come out of a residence were shots were reportedly fired and a shelter in place order has been issued for the surrounding area.

There’s a large police presence near East 12th Avenue and Dallas Street as officers attempt to negotiate a resolution, police said on Twitter.
During a confrontation about a stolen vehicle shots were fired and the victim left the area to call 911 at about 10:25 a.m., police said. Police believe two people are inside the residence, including one who has outstanding warrants.
SWAT officers and negotiators are on the scene. Police urge people to stay aware from the area.
