The new Nigeria Professional Football League season will start this December, reports SportsRation.
Since Rivers United claimed the title in August, the league has been on hold.
Different issues ranging from LMC dissolution, change of the Nigeria Football Federation executives, and more have held the resumption back.
But finally, there is light at the end of the tunnel according to reports.
The 2022/2023 season will reportedly kick off on December 18, 2022.
– 4 Clubs (Rangers Int’l, Dakkada FC, Akwa United, and Niger Tornadoes) voted for the abridged format, 16 for the regular season.
– IMC now waiting for the Nigeria Football Federation “NFF” to give approval so they can start the league.
