NFF President to meet NNL clubs ahead of 2022/2023 season


Nigeria Football Federation – NFF President Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau is in Uyo for the kick-off of the 2022/2023 NPFL season and will fly back to Abuja for a meeting with NNL clubs on Monday January 9, 2023.

The NFF President has since assumption of office held meetings with critical stakeholders as he pushes for stability across Nigeria’s football leagues.

The emergency meeting with the clubs In the Nigeria National League – NNL SportsRation gathered is in view of unforseen circumstances that requires immediate attention.

The Nigeria Football Federation will thus meet with the forty three clubs expected to feature in the 2022-2023 new season in the emergency meeting .

Head of Operations Nigeria National League, Mr.Emmanuel Adesanya who disclosed this ,said this is in consonant with NFF President’s parley with the various leagues, as well as preparations for the smooth commencement of the new NNL football season.

Adesanya noted that the situation requires the presence of all the clubs .

The Emergency sitting will hold Monday 9th January,2023 at the Sunday Dankaro Football House, Package B, MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja at 2, O’Clock in the afternoon .

The Nigeria National League is the second tier of league football in Nigeria.
