Mostly mild weather, with seasonal temperatures, is expected for the metro area into midweek.
The Denver sky will be sunny today as the high temperature climbs to about 46 degrees, according to the National Weather Service forecast. Tonight, skies will be mostly clear with a low temp near 20 degrees.
Lingering light, scattered snow showers wrapped up Saturday morning in northeastern Colorado where no hazardous weather is expected through the weekend.
On Sunday in Denver skies will be mostly sunny with a high temp of about 48 degrees, the weather service said. Skies overnight Sunday will be partly cloudy and the low will bottom out near 24 degrees.
A weak upper-level weather system may produce a few light snow showers over the higher mountains on Monday, the weather service said, with mild and dry conditions in northeastern Colorado.
In Denver on Monday, skies will be sunny and the high temperature will approach 49 degrees. Expect partly cloudy skies overnight and low temperature near 26 degrees.
A stronger storm system will bring more snow to the high country Wednesday into Thursday, according to the weather service, along with a chance for rain and snow in the metro area and across the Eastern Plains.
