The Mercedes-Maybach Haute Voiture is a fashion-inspired luxury sedan that only 150 customers will be able to get their hands on. The elegant model has so many features onboard that it looks like Times Square on Christmas Day.
Revealed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates after a fashion show, the Haute Voiture builds on the Mercedes-Maybach S 680. Therefore, is powered by the swan-song-singing 6.0-liter V12, capable of 630 PS (621 HP) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque, coupled to the nine-speed automatic transmission.
The exquisite model displays the usual two-tone paint finish with nautical metallic blue on top, matching the wheels, and a rose tone on the lower section.
Same color scheme shows up inside, with tones of gold and beige. High-quality blue and gold boucle fabrics on the doors cards and cushions is reminiscent of the world of fashion. Crystal White leather wraps the seats and consoles and a Mercedes three-pointed star pattern covers the ceiling. The occupants will benefit from the presence of linen and mohair floor mats. On celebratory occasions, champagne flutes on rose gold are available.
Mercedes has also worked on the MBUX infotainment system. There are thus sparkling glitter particles and accents in shimmering rose gold glamorously welcoming those that come on board.
Once they get the delivery of their Mercedes-Maybach Haute Voiture, customers will also get a hand-made gift box that contains the car’s badge number, a scale model, and a key ring. A special car cover displaying the Maybach and Haute Voiture logo is also on the menu.
Mercedes specifically designed this model to highlight the exclusive character of the Maybach subbrand. Only 150 units will roll off the assembly line in Sindelfingen, Germany. A badge in the center console will indicate the number of each car. Collectors will have to hurry. No word on pricing yet. But it is that “If you have to ask, it means you can’t afford it”- kind of car.
