The man was walking along Kipling Street near West 41st Avenue when he fell into the roadway about 8:50 p.m. A passing driver exited his vehicle to help the man, but as he was, a teal sedan struck the man and continued driving.
Police said in a 2 a.m. update on Facebook that the man was still in critical condition.
Police are now searching for the driver of the teal car, who they say may not have realized they hit a person. The car could be a Chevrolet Cruze.
