A man was killed early Tuesday morning in Commerce City in a hit-and-run collision, the Commerce City Police Department said in a statement.
Officers responded to a report of debris on the road near East 58th Avenue and Holly Street at about 3:30 a.m. where they discovered a man dead in the roadway.
Preliminary investigation indicates the man was struck by an unknown vehicle while he was crossing Holly Street near the intersection of East 58th Avenue.
Contributing factors to the incident are still being determined.

This is the seventh fatal traffic crash investigation in Commerce City in 2022, which have resulted in ten fatalities.
