Nigerian defender Leon Balogun is still weeks away from returning to action after his injury, QPR manager Neil Critchley confirmed.
Balogun joined the English Championship side in August 2022 as a free agent after ending his contract with Scottish Premier League side Glasgow Rangers.
The Super Eagle will go on to make 12 appearances for the championship team before sustaining injury in November.
According to the QPR manager, Balogun is an important player, one he will be glad to work with when he is ready in two weeks.
Critchley’s concerns about the 34-year old’s return is understood following a dissapointing 0-3 loss on boxing day followed by a game against high-flying Sheffield United in the new year.
