Knee injuries sideline Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, G Kevin Zeitler vs. Steelers – The Denver Post

Knee injuries have sidelined Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and right guard Kevin Zeitler for Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Jackson, who missed the past week of practice, wasn’t expected to play. Coach John Harbaugh said Friday that he expected backup Tyler Huntley to start.

Zeitler (knee) was questionable after missing two practices and being limited Friday. He’s played every offensive snap for the Ravens this season and has missed just one game since 2015. Patrick Mekari, Ben Cleveland or Trystan Colon could take his place along the line.

Running back J.K. Dobbins and safety Marcus Williams, meanwhile, were activated for the first time since October. Dobbins (3.5 yards per carry), who last played in a Week 6 loss to the New York Giants, is returning from arthroscopic surgery. Because of injuries and illness, Dobbins has played just once against the Steelers since he arrived in Baltimore in 2020.

Williams hurt his wrist in a Week 5 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. He has three interceptions in five games this season.

Rookie tight end Charlie Kolar, rookie outside linebacker David Ojabo, inside linebacker Josh Bynes and rookie cornerback Damarion “Pepe” Williams are also inactive.

Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph, guard Kendrick Green, inside linebacker Mark Robinson, outside linebacker Malik Reed and defensive back Josh Jackson, all reserves, are inactive.
