Early Life

Kelsea Ballerini was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, on September 12, 1993.
She took dance lessons at three years old at Premiere Dance studio in Tennessee but soon began to sing in the church and school choir.
At 15 years old, Kelsea relocated to Nashville, eventually pursuing her music.
Career

In 2014, she signed with Black River Entertainment and released her debut single the following year, “Love Me Like You Mean It.”
The song went on to top the Country Airplay chart, making Ballerini the first female artist to achieve that feat with a debut album.
Ballerini’s second album, Unapologetically, was released in 2017 and featured the single “Legends.”
In 2019, the country star released her third studio album, Kelsea, releasing her first single, Homecoming Queen? from the album, recording her highest Debut on the Country Airplay chart at number 22.
In 2020, Ballerini released a deluxe edition of Kelsea, which featured four new songs, including “half of my hometown” with Kenny Chesney. The song went on to top the Country Airplay chart.

Personal Life

Even her husband, Morgan Evans, is a country music star in his own right. The couple met in 2016 and got engaged a year later. They were married on December 2, 2017, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Ballerini is a self-proclaimed “dog mom” to her mixed-breed dog, Dibs. She is an active supporter of the Humane Society of the United States and has partnered with them on various initiatives to promote animal welfare.
Ballerini is also a strong advocate for women’s rights and is a vocal supporter of the powerful community Me Too movement.
