There will be less of a chance for showers and thunderstorms in metro area on Saturday, compared with the past few days, and the high temperature will climb to about 90 degrees.

In Denver clouds will increase as the day progresses, but shower activity will be minimal, according to the National Weather Service.

On Saturday, there’s a better chance for showers in the mountains, with mostly dry weather across the plains, the weather service said. Overnight in Denver, the low temperature will dip to about 60 degrees.

On Sunday in the city, there’s a 20% chance for afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Skies will be mostly sunny, and the high temperature will be near 90 degrees again. Skies will be partly cloudy on Sunday night, and the overnight low will drop to about 59 degrees.

Sunny skies are expected over Denver on Monday, with a high temperature of 89 degrees, according to the forecast.

The threat of flash floods through wildfire scar areas is “very low” through Tuesday.
