Endangered missing alert issued for boy last seen Monday at Adams City High School


Commerce City police and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation are searching for a 14-year-old boy last seen at Adams City High School around the same time as a police investigation locked the school down.

Emmanuel Melgar was last seen at the school at 3:30 p.m., and according to the missing and endangered alert poster from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, he could have been frightened off by the incident at the school.

The poster states Emmanuel has walked away from school before but came back shortly after.
