Sunshine Stars have completed the transfer of defender Ekerrete Udom from Dakkada FC SportsRation reports.
Tall-boy as Ekerrete Udom was nicknamed during his days with Vandrezzer Football Club has put pen to paper on a deal with the Akure based Nigeria Professional Football League side.
In the 2021/2022 NPFL season, Ekerrete Udom played for Nassarawa United FC before a mid-season move to hometown club Dakkada FC in the Nigerian top-flight league.
Ekerrete played a huge part in helping Dakkada FC survive the drop, his height, technique, aerial prowess and proficiency from set-pieces a plus for the Chosen Ones.
New Sunshine Stars head coach Edith Ogoye will be boosted with Ekerrete’s signing having featured the giant-sized defender in most of the clubs Ppe-season game.
The Owena-whales have made massive additions to their team ahead of the 2022/2023 NPFL season.
