Former Golden Eaglets forward Edidiong Ezekiel is one of 20 players in Remo Stars Sports Club travelling squad to Morroco for it’s maiden Continental appearance on Sunday September 11 .
The Nigerian club will be guests to Morrocan club Association Sportive Des Forces Armeés Royale – ASFAR FC in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round tie .
Edidiong Ezekiel joined the sky blues from Dakkada FC in August 2022 and alongside fellow new signing Adams Olamilekan , fired Remo Stars to the ValueJet Pre-season tournament .
The Ex-Golden Eaglets star alongside other playing , technical and backroom staff of Remo Stars hit Morroco onboard a chartered ValueJet airline on Saturday morning for the historic clash .
On the technical bench , Coach Daniel Ogunmudede who returned to Remo Stars few months ago will bank on Ezekiel and the other lads to deliver a big performance against an ASFAR FC side with a rich experience on the continent .
When Remo Stars take to the turf Vs ASFAR FC on Sunday 11th September 2022 , it will be the clubs first continental appearance .
A relatively young Remo Stars squad will be guided by the experience of Seth Mayi , Stanley Okorom and Dayo Ojo in their quest for a decent continental debut .
Kickoff is fixed for 8pm (Nigerian time) at the 53,000 capacity Prince Moulay Abdellah stadium in Rabat , Morroco on Sunday 11th September 2022 .
