The E and H rail lines of RTD are temporarily out of service between the Yale and Orchard stations for emergency repairs.
Shuttle buses are being used to connect the points, customers should plan ahead and anticipate delays, RTD said in a Thursday news release.
RTD said that a “track problem” south of the Yale Station has prompted the shutdown and subsequent shuttle service.
E Line customers can catch shuttle buses at the following stations:
- Yale Station
- Southmoor Station
- Belleview Station
- Orchard Station
Limited E Line trains are operating between Orchard and RidgeGate Parkway stations, RTD said.
There is no southbound H Line service past the Yale Station. H Line customers can take shuttle buses to the Belleview Station and transfer to the R Line to continue their trips to Dayton, Iliff, and Florida stations, the release said. Additionally, H Line customers can use the eastbound bus Route 21 from Colorado Station to Aurora Metro Center Station, then transfer to a southbound R Line to finish their trips.
RTD crews are working to resolve the problem and reopen the stretch of track. There is no estimated time for E and H lines to resume service. RTD encourages riders to sign up for service alerts to be updated when trains resume full operational service.
