A man and a woman were shot to death early Friday morning in a residential neighborhood in Brighton.
A man called 911 at 1:09 a.m. to ask for police and then the call was disconnected, according to a Brighton Police Department news release. A few moments later a neighbor called 911 and reported that two adults needed medical attention.
Police found a 31-year-old man dead on the scene from a gunshot wound, the news release said. Officers gave CPR to a 28-year-old woman who also had been shot. The woman was pronounced dead at 2 a.m. at a hospital.
Police are not releasing the names of the two dead people.
