The “Mile High Tree” was officially lit with 60,000 LED lights on Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, at Civic Center Park in Denver.

At seven stories and with a 39-foot diameter conical structure, the tree is 10 feet higher than the tallest Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in history. It contains 60,000 LED lights to create its signature -programming.

Denver Mayor Michael Hancock was also on hand to tap a ceremonial keg from Prost Brewing to celebrate opening of this year’s Denver Christkindlmarket. The market opened Friday and runs through Dec. 23.
