Denver police are looking for a vehicle that fled the scene in a recent hit-and-run crash involving a scooter.
The crash, which happened at E. Colfax Ave and N. Lincoln St, involved a motorist and standup scooter, the police said on Twitter. The crash looks to have happened at about 8:23 p.m. on Thursday.
Police say one person was taken to the hospital with “serious but nonlife-threatening injuries.”
The motorist allegedly fled the scene, prompting police to investigate the crash as a hit-and-run.
Early Friday morning, police issued a Medina Alert for the vehicle who had fled the scene. The vehicle is described as a 2011 Green Subaru Outback with Colorado plates CKIB02.
According to the alert, the vehicle was last seen in the area of the crash, being driven by a bald white male, estimated to be in his forties, wearing sunglasses.
The vehicle is also said to have “significant” front end and windshield damage.
Police ask that anyone with information contact the Denver Police Department.
