More than 2,000 fans turned out Wednesday to see the Denver Broncos as they returned to training camp with a new coach, a new quarterback and renewed hopes of resurgence.
“I’m looking forward to seeing the new camaraderie on the team and how Russell Wilson leads the team,” Broncos fan Jordan Sonogini said. “It’s exciting, the quarterback search has been going on for a while so this is a stepping stone in making it back to the Super Bowl.”
Fans will have 12 more opportunities to attend training camp practices, ending with an Aug. 11 joint workout against the Dallas Cowboys.
For each practice that starts at 10 a.m., the parking lots at the Broncos’ UCHealth Training Center facility open at 8 a.m. and gates to the practice fields open at 9 a.m. Admission and parking are free.
