Jose Peseiro has once again mentioned how delighted he is with the quality in numbers of Super Eagles players at his disposal.
The Portuguese manager was recently quoted during one of Nigeria’s friendly games in the United States stating his delight in his Nigerian players.
“If I am a Nigerian I will be happy with the Super Eagles because they have good players, said Peseiro after Nigeria suffered a 2-1 loss to Mexico in the first friendly.
“We have too many qualities in the team but all that need to improve are; organization, good system, and consistency.
“We need to improve all that but our national team has the quality and there is room to improve a lot.”
And today, during a meeting with The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Sunday Dare, Jose Peseiro during his address said he has always been a big fan of the nation’s football ever since 1994.
Jose Peseiro also mentioned how satisfied he is with his players’ quality in numbers.
“I have always loved the Nigeria team, ever since I watched them play at the 1994 FIFA World Cup in the United States. It is a team with solid pedigree.
“Presently, we have both quality and quantity of players and it is always a good situation for any team.”
