Twenty thousand years ago, animals and birds went south to escape from lousy frostbite, all but Manfred, the single woolly mammoth. On Manny’s way is a sloth Sid, abandoned by relatives.
The newfound friends fall into a situation where a dying woman gives them her child. Now the mammoth and the sloth will have a series of trials with a human baby.
The Ice Age film showed excellent box office stats, earning revenues of $383 million with a budget of $58 million. The audience and critics liked the movie, which was nominated for an Oscar award in the category “Best Animated Film.”

Will There be an Ice Age 7?
Hopefully, soon, we will find out about the release date of Ice Age 7. After a recent statement on the Disney website, it seems that the creative team is working on ideas for new adventures.
Although, most likely, the continuation of the animated cartoon, we will see no sooner than 2025.
Final words
The Ice Age is one of the longest animated franchises, and the production team did an incredible job over the past 20 years!
After Disney shut officially shut down Blue Sky Studios in April 2021. Perhaps we will see the adventures of our paleolithic ice age heroes again but this time scripted by Disney.
